The whole Brahms series was made to use in a music video of a performance I did of the Piano Quartet no.3 in C minor, Opus 60. My string quartet, Rilke Quartet was joined by pianist John Chernoff, and I am premiering the music video this year. All of the Brahms images in their different stages of charcoal and pastel drawings are used in the music video which has animated figures and video footage of Buena Vista Park and the Upper Haight in San Francisco California. There are three separate music videos for three different art and music channels on YouTube: Rilke Music channel, Bencasso Barnesquiat art channel, and my personal channel Benjamin Barnes. Benjamin Barnes, aka Bencasso Barnesquiat (a comical play on the names of famous artists) is a musician and artist based in San Francisco, CA. He received his Bachelor's and Master's of Music Degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studied with renowned teachers such as Sherry Kloss, Marlon Carlson, Izzy Tinkleman, Paul Hersh, Zaven Melikian, and Don Ehrlich. In addition to his classical training, Ben also studied electric violin, jazz performance, and composition with David Balakrishnan of the Turtle Island String Quartet.
