Description

This is a painting of a former viola student who spent many years as a professional lead ballerina, who performed in companies all over the world. She not teaches ballet at Amherst. She sent me a photo of herself laying on her stomach on a bed with her feet up, and I thought she resembled a mermaid who was reading a book on. a lily pad. I have glued and painted the viola parts to pieces she worked on. I as her teacher fell for her. She was perfect.
