Recently, I was denied a claim I made with Progressive Homesite. My violin, two expensive bows, four gopro cameras and camera gear, and my leather jacket were stolen from a church in San Francisco. In the letter about the denial, they quoted that I did not produce receipts for my items and couldn't prove that I owned them. I did send them the original receipts and took pictures of every page I sent to them of the claim form and all receipts. I am so angry at my insurance adjuster that I did a collection called "Insurance Adjusted" in which I went to the Shakespeare Gardens in San Francisco and placed a mannequin head in different areas around the statue of William Shakespeare's. . I can't afford a lawyer, and don't know what the steps are since the State Insurance Issuer denied my claim also. I'm screwed. I had to go into deep credit card debt to replace the violin expensive bows and only 2 of the 4 cameras and to busk in San Francisco BART stations and on street corners which I do to make a living. I am going to lose almost all of the digital works I created including websites I designed and built to showcase my art and music, and possibly lose my housing, and not be able to pay the gig services I use to pick up gigs. The only retaliation I can make is to create this art collection. "Paige Ketchen's Head on a Platter"
